Boarding

Along with medical, dental, and surgical care, All Creatures Veterinary Clinic provides pets with safe and secure boarding facilities supervised by our veterinarian as well as individualized attention from our animal loving staff. Being in a new environment is stressful for most pets; we want your pets to be healthy, happy, and comfortable when they board with us, so we treat them as if they were our own. If you live near Auburn, Opelika, LaFayette, Smiths Station, Beauregard, or the Lake Martin area, and you need a home away from home for your four-legged friends, bring your babies to us, and we’ll take good care of them for you. When you board with us, you can have peace of mind while you’re away knowing that your pets are safe and well cared for.

At All Creatures Veterinary Clinic, we offer clean and secure boarding facilities that accommodate both dogs and cats. We maintain separate areas for our canine and feline friends to ensure a stress-free stay for all visitors. Large and small dogs are accommodated with spacious indoor kennels complete with bedding, and when the weather is pleasant, they can enjoy playing in outdoor runs. Dogs are walked several times a day so they can attend to business and have outdoor time in our play area. Every feline lodger has a roomy kitty condo with a perching area. Our feline friends receive individualized attention at least twice a day, and they are supplied with cozy beds and litter boxes. Pet owners are allowed to bring items such as treats or blankets from home if they will make your pet feel more at ease; we ask that you please label these items.

We provide Hills Science Diet Sensitive Skin & Stomach to all boarding guests; however pet owners are allowed to bring food from home. If your pet needs a special diet or medication, owners are required to bring it from home along with any special instructions. Our staff monitors the appetite and urination/bowel movements of each boarded pet, and our veterinarian will be alerted if any problems are noted.

All boarding dogs must be current on rabies, distemper, parvo, bordetella, and canine influenza vaccines for their own protection and for the safety of other boarders and patients. Cats must be up to date on rabies, FVRCP, and FeLV vaccines.

For weekend pick up times, pet parents can pick up their fur kids on most Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. We will announce when we are closed for Saturday.

Please call today to make a boarding reservation at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic. We recommend booking a spot in advance since we tend to fill up quickly during holidays and popular vacation times.
